DB2 RUG BeLux Board
Chairman: Cristian Molaro is an independent DB2 specialist and an IBM Gold Consultant. He was recognized by IBM as an Information Champion in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. His main activity is linked to DB2 for z/OS and LUW administration and performance. He has presented papers at several international conferences and local user groups in Europe and North America. He is coauthor of 9 IBM Redbooks related to DB2 including the recent “DB2 11 Performance Topics”. He also contributed as a Technical Editor in IBM’s “DB2 Essentials” by Raul Chong and Clara Liu. Cristian is past-Chairman of the IDUG EMEA Conference Planning Committee, and he is Chairman of the DB2 LUW User Group BeLux. Cristian was recognized by IBM as “TOP” EMEA Consultant in 2011 and 2013.
Co-Chairman: Jan Henderyckx is an independent consultant, IBM Gold Consultant, lecturer and author. He has more than twenty years of experience with relational databases and has presented papers at several international conferences and local user-groups, all over the world. He was elected best overall speaker at the ’98 European IDUG and ’03 European IDUG which put him into the IDUG Hall of fame.
IBM Liaison: Alain worked more then 20 years with DB2 on Z/OS as developer, Database Administrator and System Administrator.
He was involved and had the lead in many software migrations and optimizations projects.
In 2011 he joined IBM as Technical Professional for Core Databases. In this role he helped customer deciding on the best IBM database package for their needs.
Mid 2015 Alain started as IBM Benelux Channel Technical Enablement Leader. He drives IBM success by ensuring the technical team contribute fully to building and maintaining a skilled, innovative and growing Partner Community in Benelux. In his new role he will continue support the DB2 BeLux usergroup as the IBM Liaison
